Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr MBE (born Andrea Jane Corr) is a singer-songwriter-musician and actress from Ireland. Corr together the likes of Caroline Sharon and Jim, first made their appearance in the role of The Corrs' lead singer in 1990. Andrea Corr is Irish singer-songwriter musician. Her most well-known role is The lead singer in the Celtic-folk/pop rock band The Corrs. She sings and plays a variety of instruments in the group. Andrea began her professional career as an actress in 1991. Then she was an artist on stage and as a musician. She was a playback singer in 1998's Warner Bros. animation film The Quest for Camelot. Six studio albums, two compilation albums, two live albums as well as a remix album under her belt, Andrea is firmly established as a multifaceted artist. She has been felicitated by her charity work as well. Andrea is a mother of two with her stockbroker partner. Andrea's very first musical lesson was to learn the Tin Horn. She learned to play the piano, under the instruction of Gerry. Andrea also plays the ukulele. Andrea honed her skills in music in her teens. She sang along with her sisters, and eventually became the group's leader after a lot of practice. Andrea was a part of many shows in Dun Lughaidh Convent.
