Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr, MBE is an Irish singer-songwriter and musician. Corr together the likes of Caroline Sharon and Jim, first made their appearance with the band as The Corrs' lead singer in the year 1990. Andrea Corr, an Irish musician, songwriter and actor is one of the Corrs. Her most well-known role is her lead vocalist in the Celtic-folk and pop rock group The Corrs. She sings and plays several instruments with the group. Andrea began her career as an actress in 1991. Then she was a musician and stage artist. Singer for the playback in 1998's Warner Bros. animation film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea has six studio albums to her name, along with two compilations albums, four live albums and the mix CD. She was also honoured for her work in charity. Andrea is married and has two children with her stockbroker. Andrea started music lessons at the age of eight, learning the tin flute. Gerry helped her learn to play piano. Andrea plays the Ukulele. The teenage years were spent working on her technique. She sang along with her sisters, and eventually became the head of the band after lots of rehearsal. Andrea was a student at the Dun Lughaidh Convent,' where she performed frequently in school performances.
