Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr is an Irish singer, musician and actress. Corr together the likes of Caroline Sharon and Jim, began their career with the band as The Corrs' lead singer in 1990. Andrea Corr was born in Ireland and is a singer-songwriter, musician, and actor. She was awarded the honor of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) and is better known as an active member of the Celtic folk and pop-rock band The Corrs. A multi-instrumentalist and lead singer of the Corrs, Andrea is their leader. Andrea began her acting career at the age of 21 in. Since then, Andrea has developed into a talented musician as well as stage actor. She was a voice actress on the Warner Bros. 1998 animated film The Quest for Camelot. She has six studio albums, two compilation albums two live albums, and a remix album under her belt, Andrea has truly established herself as an artist with a variety of talents. She was also honoured by her charitable work. Andrea as well as her partner who is a stockbroker have two children. Andrea started her musical lessons through learning how to play the Tin whistle. Gerry taught her to play piano. Andrea can also play the ukulele. Her musical abilities were developed throughout her teens. She began by practicing alongside her family members, and then became an eminent singer of the group. Andrea was a part of many shows in Dun Lughaidh Convent.
